ACC supports the "Heartbeat Bill"

HB125 -  "Heartbeat Bill" - would ensure that once a heartbeat of a pre-born baby is detected - the baby is protected from abortion.

Ashland Care Center was priviledged to testify in favor of HB125 - the "Heartbeat Bill".  Executive Director, Ducia Hamm gave testimony while Nurse Manager, Julie Aber performed a live ultrasound using ACC equipment for the legislators in the Health and Aging committee of the Ohio House. Two babies heartbeats were seen and heard - one baby was at 9 weeks and the second 15 weeks.

This story has been picked up by the AP wire service and has been headlined worldwide as "The youngest ever to testify".
